“If you feel like there’s something out there that you’re supposed to be doing if you have a passion for it, then stop wishing and just do it.” —Wanda Sykes
This quote summarizes my story. As a young attorney, I’ve had the opportunity to work and prove myself in a wide array of legal environments. Some examples include legal aid clinics, pro bono, boutique firms, local and federal courts, and even a legal startup.
Upon graduation, I had the opportunity to work in one of Puerto Rico’s top law firms. However, while the experience was transcendent, I saw myself longing for a purpose-driven adventure.
So, I decided to take the risk and, with the support of my wife, I started Seed Law, LLC, a virtual law office helping launch, grow, and protect businesses lead by purpose-driven creatives, entrepreneurs, and artists in Puerto Rico.
I strongly believe that, in this day and age, Puerto Rico needs to cultivate an innovative, creative and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem. Seed Law, LLC, is an extension of that belief. Therefore, I focus on Intellectual Property, Entertainment Law, and Small Business Law. Why? Because my practice revolves around what I’m most passionate about.
One thing I learned from my previous experiences is that to truly thrive, one has to believe in what one does. This ethos underlies my work with my clients. I work with clients or projects I believe in; clients or projects that will change the world, little by little.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family, playing my Taylor guitar, playing basketball (or at least trying to), and sharing every bit of knowledge I’ve gathered so far.
I’m also a husband of an amazing lawyer-boss lady, and the father of Joey, an adorable Stitch-looking french bulldog.
